The oil lamps featured on this page are
based on the design of pottery lamps used in Britain during the Roman
period. They consist of a small chamber to contain the oil, with a
filling hole and a nozzle for the wick.
The lamps make a beautiful addition to any altar or an unusual
alternative to a candle. They are supplied with a wick and simply need
filling with vegetable oil before use.
