The Hawthorn is a potently
magickal tree. It long been associated with the festival of Beltaine,
fertility, sexuality and the Faery realm. A blessing rod,
traditionally made from Hawthorn wood, is the opposite of a blasting
rod and is used for positive magick and to bring good fortune. A
blessing rod would make a wonderful tool for handfastings, naming
ceremonies, etc. |
