Holloway Oak Kindred Spirit (KS146)

This Kindred Spirit figure has been newly carved from the root of a windfallen oak. The tree grew within a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The piece contains a wonderful range of tones and markings within the wood. It feels incredibly tactile, so feels good to gently hold during meditation or for ritual use, and wears a woven cloak.

Raven feathers and a medicine bag have been added, along with an acorn, a deer antler tip, and two hare bones, including one with red ochre. The red ochre is from a traditional source - the Luberon mountains in France.

The bag contains dried rowan berries, traditionally associated with protection, and our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace.

The figure itself is also filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

The base has a bindrune for protection added.
