Holloway Oak Protective Spirit (PS109)

This simply shaped Protective Spirit amulet has been newly carved from windfallen ancient oak wood. The tree grew within a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The piece contains a wonderful range of tones and natural graining within the wood.

This tactile amulet seems to invite being held, making it ideal for meditation or restful moments.

The amulet is adorned with an acorn, and filled with our protective herb blend, which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

The eyes are finished with garnets. The back of the figure has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect. The base has a bindrune for protection added.
