Holloway Oak Thorn Box (TH133)

This beautifully chunky and tactile box is lovingly handcrafted from the root of a windfallen ancient holloway oak. The piece contains a wonderful range of textures and markings within the gnarled wood, giving the box an organic and grounded feel.

The lid rests gently in place with a slight friction hold, rather than a tight seal. It is newly carved from ancient bog oak which is around 3,000 years old and from the Co. Roscommon area of Ireland. It is beautifully deep in colour and feels full of positive energies.

The box is finished with two acorns. Reusable and versatile, it's perfect for storing blackthorns, hawthorns, dried herbs, or other small spellwork essentials.

If you'd like, some dried mugwort can be included with your box, and/or a bindrune for protection, love, or ancestral connection can be added to the base for no extra charge.
