Holloway Oak Thorn Box (TH137)
This beautifully chunky and tactile box is lovingly handcrafted from the root of a windfallen ancient holloway oak. The piece contains a wonderful range of textures and markings within the gnarled wood, giving the box an organic and grounded feel.
The lid is newly carved from beautifully dark Fenland bog oak from Suffolk which is around 2,300 years old, dating back to the time of the Iron Age. It is beautifully deep in colour, and feels full of positive energies. The lid rests gently in place with a slight friction hold, rather than a tight seal.This reusable and versatile box is perfect for storing blackthorns, hawthorns, dried herbs, or other small spellwork essentials.
If you'd like, some dried mugwort can be included with your box, or a bindrune for protection, love, or ancestral connection can be added to the base for no extra charge. Simply leave a note during checkout with your preferences (or email [email protected]) and your box will be prepared accordingly.
