Moon-Gazing Hare Amulet (DAM713)

This amulet, newly carved, takes the form of a moon-gazing hare, a creature long linked by tradition to fertility and the moon.

Shaped from wood from the Glastonbury area of southern Britain, the fabled Isle of Avalon which is around 3,200 years old. It is beautifully rich and deep in colour, with some lighter streaks within it, and feels full of positive energies.

The piece stands freely on any flat surface and is pleasingly tactile. It is filled with our protective herb blend, containing herbs gathered with care from the land around the sacred site of Stonehenge, and sealed with a plug of mistletoe. A bindrune for protection has been added to the base.

It lends itself to being placed on a bedside table as a watchful presence during sleep, or held during meditation to invite calm and intention. It also sits naturally in a corner of a room, or on a windowsill, as a quiet focus for protective or positive energies in the home. However you choose to work with it, it is crafted with care and purpose.
