Moon Goddess Figurine (AP048)

This wonderful figurine is carved into a beautiful Goddess with a full moon above her head. She is lovingly handcrafted from the root of a windfallen yew, carefully and respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient site of Stonehenge in southern England. The smooth wood reveals beautiful colours and markings, and feels wonderfully warm to touch.

The figurine is beautifully chunky, and feels good to hold. The back has the natural outer surface of the root left in place. The rough texture, and her heavier weight make this an interesting and truly individual piece.

The Goddess is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs also respectfully gathered from the land surrounding Stonehenge. The herbs are permanently sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn.

The piece is infused with the energies of this potent ancient herb blend from inside and will make an excellent addition to your altar, sacred space, or simply for placing next to your bed. The figurine is free-standing on a flat surface and is wonderfully tactile.

The deep sides of the figure has Anglo-Saxon runic script saying "Ic eom þīn scyld and sibbes weard", meaning I am your shield and guardian of peace. The base has a bindrune for protection added.
