Petite Irish Protective Spirit (PS117)
This simply shaped petite Protective Spirit amulet has been newly crafted from ancient bog yew which is around 4,000 years old and from the Co. Roscommon area of Ireland. The wood is rich in history and deep in colour, carrying energies of protection and positivity.
There is a sense that the figure invites being held, making it perfectly suited for holding during meditation or sleep. Alternatively, it's just the right size for slipping into a pocket and holding in the hand whilst walking. It's recommended that the amulet is placed into a small, soft bag (a cotton drawstring bag is ideal) to protect it when carried, etc.
The amulet is filled with our protective herb blend, which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.
The back of figure has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect, and the base of the figure has a bindrune for protection added.
