Burr Yew Safe Travel Amulet (PE1997)

This wonderful piece is carved into a simple and tactile pendant with a bindrune for safe travel .

It has been newly carved from windfallen burr yew which dates back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The warm colours and rich tones within this piece are wonderful - see the additional photos for a look at them.

The pendant is filled with speedwell which is a special little plant with pretty blue flowers. It's traditionally linked to travellers - if your path touches speedwell, safe travel is ahead.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of rowan, further strengthening the amulet's qualities as rowan is considered to be a tree of protection.

Supplied with a generously long cord, the pendant offers a simple tie closure and adjustable length to suit your preference.
