Saxon Runic Sunwheel Pendant (PE1925)

This sunwheel pendant has been newly created to honour a timeless symbol. The sunwheel, an ancient emblem of life and vitality, has been lovingly crafted to celebrate the return of the sun’s warmth and light.

The pendant is made from warm-toned hawthorn wood, respectfully gathered from the land near Stonehenge in southern Britain. Hawthorn is steeped in tradition and is closely associated with love, making it a meaningful material for this piece.

The back of the pendant features a simple Saxon love poem inscribed in runes, translated from Old English meaning "You are my heaven-bright." This serves as both a tribute to the sun, and would also make a meaningful gift for a loved one.

The pendant is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

Supplied with a cotton cord, the pendant offers a simple tie closure and adjustable length to suit your preference.
