Saxon Yew Kindred Spirit (KS165)

This freestanding Kindred Spirit figure has been newly carved from windfallen yew which dates back to the Saxon Age. It feels incredibly tactile and full of positive energies, so is good to gently hold during meditation or for ritual use.

The piece contains a wonderful range of tones within the wood, and the natural colouring has a fluid feel to it - giving the look of a cloak pulled across the figure's shoulder. Difficult to photograph, but most visible in the third picture.

The figure is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

The back of the figure has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect, and the base has a bindrune for protection added.
