Simple Protection Amulet (DAM716)

This simple amulet is newly crafted from bog oak from the Glastonbury area of southern Britain, the fabled Isle of Avalon. The wood is around 3,200 years old. The wood is rich in history and deep in colour, carrying energies of protection and positivity.

This chunky and deeply tactile piece hasn't been created as a pendant - it would most likely be too large for that purpose - but is designed primarily for hanging in a quiet corner to invite positive energies into your home, near the bed as a sleep charm, or for holding during rest or meditation. The amulet has a hanging hole and comes supplied with a generously long length of cotton cord.

The amulet is filled with our protective herb blend - herbs traditionally associated with protection and the energies of peace - including herbs gathered respectfully from the land surrounding Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

One side of the amulet has Saxon runes saying "Tō beorgan", meaning to protect.
