Stonehenge Hawthorn Thorn Box (TH117)

This beautifully tactile box is lovingly handcrafted from windfallen hawthorn which was carefully gathered from the Normanton Down area of southern Britain, overlooking Stonehenge. It feels full of positive energies. The piece contains a wonderful range of textures and markings within the wood, giving the box an organic and grounded feel.

The lid is newly carved from holloway oak. The lid rests gently in place with a slight friction hold, rather than a tight seal.

The box is finished with a Hampshire hazelnut carved with a spiral, an ancient symbol of life and life force.

This reusable and versatile box is perfect for storing blackthorns, hawthorns, dried herbs, or other small spellwork essentials.

If you'd like, some blackthorns can be included with your box. Simply leave a note during checkout.
