Stonehenge Holly Spiral Ogham Bead (PE1963)

A chunky bead pendant with a spiral, an ancient symbol of life and life force.

The bead is newly carved from holly wood which was carefully and respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient, sacred site of Stonehenge in southern Britain. Holly is associated with fire and spiritual strength.

The back of the bead has the ogham symbol for holly added.

Supplied with a generously long cotton cord, the bead offers a simple tie closure and adjustable length to suit your preference.

This is a larger, chunkier bead, which some people may prefer for ritual wear than for every day, though it's up to personal preference of course. For the best idea of scale please see the photo showing the bead against a woman's average-sized hand.
