Stonehenge Holly Wolf Mother Pendant (W13)

This stylised Wolf Mother pendant is newly carved from the wood of a windfallen holly tree. The tree grew near Stonehenge, Normanton Down, a place visited by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). It is beautifully warm in colour, and feels full of positive energies.

The wolf is an animal which has long been regarded with awe. Ceridwen, the Celtic moon and fertility Goddess was associated with wolves and there are many myths and legends about the wolf being a close companion of humans and tales of nurture. Conversely, the wolf's ferocity is also well told, reminding us of their power. The wolf has associations with the moon, wisdom and in Celtic lore, also with winter from Samhain to Imbolc.

It is filled with our protective herb blend - herbs traditionally associated with protection and the energies of peace - and incorporating herbs gathered respectfully from the land surrounding Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of heather.

A bindrune for ancestral connection has been added to the back of the pendant.

Supplied with a generously long cord, the pendant offers a simple tie closure and adjustable length to suit your preference.
