Stonehenge Protective Kindred Spirit (KS156)
This simply shaped Protective Kindred Spirit figure has been made from windfallen hawthorn which was carefully gathered from the Normanton Down area of southern Britain, overlooking Stonehenge. It feels full of positive energies. The piece contains a wonderful range of textures and markings within the wood, giving the piece an organic and grounded feel.
There is a sense that the figure invites being held, making it perfectly suited for holding during meditation or sleep. It is adorned with a simple deer antler bead and a medicine bag.
The bag is filled with dried rowan berries and a protective blend of dried herbs and plants from folklore, which are traditionally considered to aid in protection and sleep.
The figure is also filled with our protective herb blend, which includes herbs also respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.
On the front of the figure there is a deeply carved protection bindrune which is wonderfully tactile, enhancing your connection to its energy.
The back of figure has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect.
