Sacred wood. Ancient stories. Crafted by hand.

Stonehenge Yew Thorn Box (TH123)

£70.00 GBP

This slightly larger and beautifully tactile box is lovingly handcrafted from yew wood, carefully and respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient site of Stonehenge in southern England. The smooth wood reveals beautiful colours and markings, and feels wonderfully warm to touch.

The lid is newly carved from beautifully rich-toned Saxon burr bog oak. The wood is around 1,100 years old and was naturally preserved in the banks of a river in the Norfolk area of Britain. The lid rests gently in place with a slight friction hold, rather than a tight seal.

This reusable and versatile box is perfect for storing thorns, dried herbs, or other small spellwork essentials.

A bindrune for protection has been added to the base.

If you'd like, some blackthorns or dried mugwort can be included with your box. Please add a note to the message box during checkout (or simply email [email protected]) to request this.

Size (including lid): 18 cm/ 7.25 inches tall (approx.)
