Welsh Slate and Bog Oak Athame (A077)
This beautiful athame, a ceremonial knife used in Pagan and Wiccan ritual, has a blade crafted from Welsh slate. The wooden handle sits pleasingly in the hand, and feels tactile and warm to the touch. The wood is around 3,200 years old and is from the Glastonbury area of southern Britain, the fabled Isle of Avalon. It is beautifully rich and deep in colour, and feels full of positive energies.
The handle is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding Stonehenge. The herbs are permanently sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.
