This spell box is handcrafted
from ancient bog oak and is carved into a detailed
Raven's head. Ravens have strong associations with the
Celtic God Bran who has both underworld and solar
connections and they also have further links with water
and prophecy. The wood is from the
Norfolk Fens which is an area known for its connection
to the Iceni, an Iron age Celtic tribe who inhabited the
land in prehistory - their infamous queen was Boudicca,
well-known for fighting the invading Roman army. The
wood, although all from the same time period and area is
two very different colours - the box itself is a lighter
colour - warm and rich, whereas the lid is carved from
wood of the deepest black.

traditionally used in many types of magick and spells
but can be difficult to source. This reusable box is
filled with blackthorns and is also suitable for keeping
dried herbs or other small spell items. It makes a
beautiful and very unusual piece.

This spell box is handcrafted

Crow's head. Crows are considered to be birds of
prophecy and visions. Like the shaman, they are said to
look with one eye into the conscious world and with one
eye into the inner world and see beneath the surface. The wood is from the

bark left intact and is finished with a lid crafted from wood from the
Norfolk Fens, home of the historic Iceni tribe and their
infamous queen, Boudicca. This beautifully black wood is dated to
the Celtic Iron Age, around 2,300 years ago and feels
full of positive energies.
This reusable box is
filled with blackthorns and is also suitable for keeping

scattered throughout ancient Wessex. It has beautifully
warm colours within it ranging from the paler sap wood
through to the rich oranges and red tones of the
heartwood.
