Welsh Slate and Yew Athame (A078)
This beautiful athame, a ceremonial knife used in Pagan and Wiccan ritual, has a blade crafted from Welsh slate.
The wooden handle sits pleasingly in the hand, and feels tactile and warm to the touch. It's crafted from windfallen yew, carefully and respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient site of Stonehenge in southern England. The smooth wood reveals beautiful colours and markings, and feels wonderfully warm to touch.
The handle is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding Stonehenge. The herbs are permanently sealed inside with a plug of red deer antler at the base.
