Larger Holloway Oak Thorn Box (TH132)

This beautifully tactile box is lovingly handcrafted from ancient holloway oak wood. The piece contains a wonderful range of textures and markings within the gnarled wood, giving the box an organic and grounded feel.

The lid is newly carved from windfallen yew from a tree which dates back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The piece contains interesting markings and a range of warm colours. The lid rests gently in place with a slight friction hold, rather than a tight seal.

The box is finished with an acorn, and a Hampshire hazelnut with a spiral added. It is perfect for storing blackthorns, hawthorns, dried herbs, or other small spellwork essentials.

If you'd like, some dried mugwort can be included with your box, or a bindrune for protection, love, or ancestral connection can be added to the base for no extra charge.
