Twisted Blackthorn Blasting Rod (BR011)

This handcrafted blasting rod has been created from naturally twisted blackthorn which is a rare and beautiful find. Blackthorn has long been considered to be a wood of great power and a keeper of secrets due to its near-impenetrable thorns.

Longer than a regular wand, in traditional use, they were used for "binding and blasting" whilst, in more modern times, they are well-suited to reversing harmful magick spells, casting strong protection spells or reflecting ill will.

The handle is filled with our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection, and which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of 2,300 year old Fenland bog oak.
